This app was designed especially for Indian migrants workers working in the source and destination states and are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This app presently covers 8 states of India and would expand more in the near future. These migrants faced numerous hardships in their livelihoods and millions had to cope with income loss, food shortages, and uncertainty about their future. The situation of migrants in India is one such which speaks the tales of the invisible workforce who have become visible with multiple challenges to survive. Lacking jobs and money, hundreds of thousands of migrants walked hundreds of kilometers to reach their villages. The purpose of this app is to: a) Ensure that the migrants are in safe hands through safe migration channels. b) Helps migrants fight for their rights. c) Assists in registering for social security and social protection benefits.
On this app migrants can get latest updates about Government schemes, news and campaigns. They can register themselves and request for migration from one state to another. This is easily designed and accessible application for the migrants who can create their login with their mobile number and password.
