We have all encountered these superheroes. We are one or we have one around us. Either way, we have experienced the raw beauty that they bring and the graceful strength in their arms that are often thought of as weak.
Our mothers, for instance, are one of a kind. Juggling between career, home, and responsibilities in the church without crumbling. They multitask and seem to be on top of every situation. Displaying supernormal strength even in the most impossible situations. They seem to be fine, but they need all the prayers we can give them.
Motherhood is just one of the many phases of being and becoming a woman. They have to go through the stages of being a young girl to a budding teen then to a young woman finding her way through life, and finally a wife to a man. Beyond this, they carry birth young souls with the understanding that they have a majority role in their children’s lives. Hence, they grow old and serve as wise counselors to all.
Although people of faith might not want to admit it, most can probably remember a time when reciting a daily prayer or two was not exactly a part of their everyday routine. For many, daily prayer is something they turn to when life becomes stressful, difficult, or saddening. It can be easy to forget about the habit when life becomes busy or when everything is going well. But having a daily habit of healing through prayer is a great way to stay grounded in your faith on a day-to-day basis and prioritize reflective time between you and God. Reading a prayer for today will not only help you feel closer to God, but can also relieve daily stress and anxiety.
But if it's been a while since you read Bible scripture, finding a place to start can feel overwhelming. That's why it's helpful to have some short go-to Bible verses and prayers that can provide guidance and strength through every season of your life, whether you pray every day, week, month, or barely at all. The most important thing to remember, though, is that no matter how often you pray, God is always ready to listen.
Loving Father, Your Word instructs that faith without work is dead, so we confess that as women, we will develop and demonstrate our Christian faith, daily. We declare that in singleness, marriage, motherhood, separation, divorce or widowhood, we are more than conquerors through Christ. We confess that as we submit to Your Word; we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. Lord, we decree that our belief systems and behavior patterns reflect Your righteousness in our personal and professional lives. We declare that the light of Jesus is reflected in our actions. We declare that we are virtuous women and our price is far above rubies. As we fellowshipwith one another, others will see our good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven. Lord, we confess that Your favorsurrounds us as like a shield. We declare that our finances are blessed and we are lenders, not borrowers. Lord, because we realize that the food we put in our bodies can impact our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual capabilities, we declare that we will eat right on all occasions. We confess that we will include exercise in our daily activities to maintain physical health. Above all, we confess that we have victorious futuresbecause Your plans for us are of hope; filled with good and not evil.
