Preon TV is a spoiler-free TV companion app built for people who love television and never want to be spoiled again. It is a consumer database of in-universe story and character information for TV series and movies, designed to be used while you are actually watching.
Every feature on Preon TV is bounded by your personal watch progress. Look up a character and you only see who they are up to your current episode. Read a recap and it stops where you stopped. Take a trivia quiz and the questions never reference future plot points. This is the foundation of the whole product.
Most TV reference sites — IMDb, Wikipedia, Fandom wikis — were not designed with spoilers in mind. They show you everything at once. Preon TV is the opposite: it tracks what episode you're on and hides everything past that point. You can finally use a wiki in the middle of a show without ruining it.
Preon TV is also social. Friends, clubs, watchlists, recommendations, lists (ranked, timeline, and watch-order), and a "Fan Pit" for episode-level discussions all live in the app. Discussions are gated behind quizzes — you have to prove you actually watched the episode before you can join the conversation.
