Prep99 is a study coach for the Texas insurance licensing exams: the General Lines – Life, Accident, Health and HMO exam and the Life Agent exam. A plan sized to the days you have, practice in the exam's exact format, explanations that name the trap and cite the Texas law behind it, and a strict, honest read of whether you're ready to book.

Readiness: a band with a reason, not a number
Prep99 counts only the questions you see for the first time, weights them by the content outline of the exam you chose, and asks for a recent full mock before it calls you ready. The bands are Starting out, Building, On track and Ready, each with the reason that moves it most ("Needs work in Texas law"). Texas law gets its own band. Readiness is not a prediction of your exam result, and it is not an exam score.

The exact format, mirrored
• Texas Life & Health: 130 scored questions (100 general, 30 Texas law) plus 15 unscored pretest questions, in 150 minutes.
• Texas Life Agent: 80 scored questions (50 general, 30 Texas law) plus 10 unscored pretest questions, in 120 minutes.
• One result for the whole exam: Texas reports a scaled score from 0 to 100, and 70 passes.
Full mocks use the same counts, the same time and the same English/Spanish toggle as the exam.
