The PodoJournal is the association organ of the Association of German Podiatrists (VDP) e.V., by practitioners for practitioners, and serves as a link between the association and its approximately 3,000 members, but also all interested podiatrists, podiatry students and students.
Going public should also remedy the great lack of podiatry specialists and attract more and more young people to this interesting profession with academic future prospects.
The Podojournal presents subject-specific and general medical knowledge and thus brings adequate benefits for theory and practice. Practical case studies are discussed in detail and illustrated with plenty of image material, health policy topics are presented in a timely manner, as are specialist topics on taxes, law and business administration as well as personnel and practice management and other topics of interest. Of course, the direct connection between industry and users through advertisements and product presentations is also important.

In addition, the VDP e.V. is the only association to represent Germany in the globally active FIP (Fédération Internationale de Podologues | International Federation of Podiatrists) and is in direct contact with 31 organizations from 30 countries on 6 continents. In addition, the FIP organizes its world congress every three years, in which VDP members can take part, as only they are automatically members of the FIP.
The Podojournal is used for direct communication between the association and its members, provides information about innovations in the field and supports the association's efforts to present the profession of podiatrist in a publicly effective manner.
