VAULT ACCESS CONTROLS
Use a PIN or supported biometric authentication to restrict access to private documents in the App. Automatic vault locking is available when leaving the vault or minimizing the App. Vault access controls and PDF password protection are separate features; moving a document to the vault does not automatically encrypt every stored scan.

ABOUT AI AND PROCESSING
Many scanning, editing, PDF and OCR operations run on your device. Cloud document questions and translation use external AI services and require internet access and service availability. Requests can include document text,metadata and recent chat context. When Gemini is configured, some smart-analysis workflows can also send a page image during scanning or import.

Some Google-powered features require compatible devices or downloaded components. OCR accuracy depends on image quality, layout and supported text. Review recognized text, AI answers and translations before relying on them. See the Privacy Policy for data handling details.
