I'm really confused about what this app is. GPT4ALL as I know it, is an open source program that allows you to incorporate your own custom LLMs and APIs, and even run them offline. However this app doesn't seem to allow any customization, integration, APIs, etc. It seems to just be a ploy, that takes advantage of the free OpenAi credits to act like it's providing free credits, and then it wants you to 'buy credits' through them, basically acting as a middle-man for ChatGPT.

The app is very nice...but when I chat something it doesn't reply sometimes and just says: I am programmed to be a harmless AI assistant. I am unable to fulfill this request. I am sorry. I hope you fix it

Tried Principia hoping it would be a powerful, flexdible tool but it's a complete letdown. It's not jailbroken, doesn't offer any unlocked LLMs, and feels even more restricted than most cloud-based language models. The app is SO over-regulated that you can barely do anything meaningful with it Ifyou're looking for freedomn, creativity, or advanced Al capabilities, this is definitely not it Total waste of time.
