About this game

Prizmic is a quiet puzzle game about light.

A single beam leaves the emitter and travels in a straight line until something changes its mind. Your job is to place that something. Mirrors turn the beam, prisms split it and shift its colour, splitters copy it, filters let one colour through and stop the rest, and crystals move a beam one step along the spectrum. Arrange them so every gem on the board is lit at the same time, and in the right colour where a gem asks for one.

There is no timer, no lives, no energy meter and no way to lose. A puzzle waits as long as you do.

120 handmade and machine-verified levels
Ten chapters, each opening with a new piece and a level that teaches it by letting you find it rather than by explaining it. Every level has been proved solvable at its par by an exhaustive solver, and proved unsolvable one piece below it, so the target on screen is a real target and never a guess.

Three stars for a tidy solution
Stars are awarded against the level's par piece count. Solving a board is one thing; solving it without a spare piece is another, and that is the game the later chapters are really about.

A hint when you want one
The hint button points at one next step, not at the answer. It works from the board as you have left it, so it stays useful after you have already committed to half a plan.

Plays entirely offline
No account, no sign-in, no ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics and no network requests of any kind. The only permission the app asks for is vibration, for the short buzz when a level is solved.

Built to be turned down
Sound, music, vibration and animation are four separate switches, because wanting a quiet game is not the same as wanting a still one. Everything is readable with all four off.

Prizmic is portrait, one-handed, and made to be picked up for two minutes or forty.
