About this app

My name is Diego Pages, and I graduated as a certified public accountant 19 years ago. I began my career in the financial sector at a major firm in Uruguay and also worked as an auditor in the public sector. Currently, I am an independent professional advising companies engaged in a wide variety of activities. Since university, I've had a knack for programming, and a few years ago, I conceived of Profinance as a personal challenge.

My tool was born out of a personal need: I needed to share with my family how I managed my elderly mother's money. Although I conducted an exhaustive search for accounting apps, I couldn't find one online that met my needs. Profinance, unlike other applications on the market, allows you to track income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, based on the double-entry bookkeeping method. The entries generate economic (income and expenses) and financial (assets and liabilities) reports, allowing the user to see how savings were used and the current status of available funds, accounts receivable, and accounts payable (credit cards and bills).

The forms the user uses are simple and designed to prevent errors when entering data. Profinance also allows you to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, assigning due dates and generating alerts for the user, using colors (green, yellow, and red) to indicate when a due date is approaching.
Values: All our associates operate under the same values ​​of ethics, commitment, and integrity. Our mission is to provide a useful and easy-to-use tool. We initially offer this tool completely free of charge. Over time, we hope the app will become a real solution, and that our satisfied customers will be willing to subscribe to a monthly fee so that all parties benefit.
