About this app

Turn your Google TV into the art frame you thought you were buying.

If you picked up a TCL NXTFRAME TV for its Art Mode / T-Exhibition gallery display, you already know the letdown: instead of your TV quietly showing art, Google TV's own ambient screensaver kicks in first — bright, generic, and nothing like the frame look you wanted. Art Mode Brightness fixes both halves of that problem.

FEATURES
• One-tap switch to your TCL NXTFRAME's own Art Mode / T-Exhibition gallery display, instead of Google TV's generic ambient screensaver
• Adjustable brightness for Art Mode (or the ambient screensaver, on non-NXTFRAME Google TVs) — dim it to match your room instead of leaving it at full brightness like a spotlight
• Optional motion-based control: automatically wake the TV and start Art Mode when a Home Assistant motion sensor detects movement in the room, then turn the display off again after a delay you choose once the room clears (requires the free, open-source Art Mode Brightness Home Assistant integration)

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE USE
This app uses Android's Accessibility Service for one purpose only: to detect when your TV's Art Mode or ambient screensaver starts or stops, so it knows when to switch to your NXTFRAME's Art Mode and/or apply the dimming overlay. If you enable the optional motion-based control feature, it also uses this to confirm Art Mode has actually started after waking the TV.

This app does not use the Accessibility Service to:
• Read or log on-screen content
• Record audio, video, or phone calls
• Collect or transmit personal data
• Change system settings on your behalf

Before the app ever asks you to turn on the Accessibility Service, you'll see a clear, dedicated consent screen with separate "Allow" and "Don't Allow" options — and you can turn it off any time from Android's Settings > Accessibility.
