Tiger Behavior Map is a private, fully offline journal for recording where individual tigers were observed and what they were doing — nothing more.
There are no accounts, no maps, no GPS, no cloud sync and no network access of any kind. Every tiger, zone, behavior, session and observation you enter is stored locally on your device, and stays there.
HOW IT WORKS
Every record answers four simple questions:
– Which tiger?
– Where was it recorded (a named zone you define, such as Tree Platform, Pool or Shelter)?
– What was it doing?
– When was it observed?
Logging is built for speed: select a tiger, select a zone, select a behavior, save. Date and time default to now but stay editable, and you can optionally add duration, notes, or a second tiger for social behaviors.
WHAT YOU CAN TRACK
– Individual tigers, with optional code, sex, dates and notes
– Named zones you create yourself — no geographic maps or coordinates
– A built-in library of common behaviors (locomotion, rest, exploration, water, feeding, social) plus your own custom behaviors
– Point observations (a single moment) and timed observations (with duration), kept analytically separate
– Social behaviors and structured, user-entered Aggressive Interaction details (initiator, intensity, actions observed, outcome)
– Observation sessions for concentrated periods of watching, with a live session timer and running tally
SEE YOUR OWN RECORDED PATTERNS
As your history grows, the app summarizes only what you entered — never a scientific, veterinary or behavioral diagnosis:
– Most recorded zone and behavior per tiger
– Zone x Behavior and Tiger x Zone breakdowns
– Time-of-day distribution, with boundaries you can configure
– Week-over-week and month-over-month comparisons
– Recorded behavior and zone transitions
– Tiger-pair social history and aggressive interaction history
STAY IN CONTROL OF YOUR DATA
– Full chronological history with filters, search and a calendar view
– Favorites for tigers, zones and pinned Quick Logs
– Archive tigers, zones or behaviors without losing their historical records
– Export your data anytime as CSV or a plain-text summary, shared entirely through your device native share sheet
– Reset everything locally whenever you choose
Tiger Behavior Map is a record-keeping tool for manually entered observations. Summaries and patterns describe the records you entered and do not represent veterinary, welfare, behavioral, safety or scientific conclusions.
