GreenBreak is a personal offline journal for short breaks in nature. Step into a park, garden, woodland, courtyard or another quiet green place, look around and record what you noticed.
A BREAK AT YOUR OWN PACE
There is no timer, route to follow or achievement to unlock. Start a Green Break, take a moment to observe your surroundings and return to your phone when you are ready to write.
SIX QUESTIONS TO GUIDE YOUR NOTES
Describe where you went, what you saw, the plants and trees you noticed, the sounds you heard, the moment you remember most and anything else you want to keep in a note. Your observations are the focus, not a score or a step count.
CONTINUE WHEN YOU ARE READY
Unfinished writing stays as a draft that you can continue from the home screen. An empty draft disappears if you leave without writing, and a completed entry needs at least a few words about what you noticed.
KEEP A PERSONAL NATURE HISTORY
The journal separates entries in progress from saved memories. Each saved entry brings the memorable moment to the front, followed by the other details and date. Open an older entry to review or edit it later.
WRITE WITHOUT A SAVE BUTTON
Text saves automatically as you write and when you leave the editing screen. Earlier entries load in batches, keeping a longer journal manageable.
GreenBreak stores notes locally on your phone. No account, registration, location access or network connection is needed, and your writing is not sent to a server.
The app is a notebook for your own observations. It does not plan walks, track steps or measure how successful a break was. Go outside, notice something and keep a few words about it.
Take a nature break and keep personal notes about the green places around you.
