About this app

Welcome to Symposium—the text-first social platform designed for thoughtful conversation, intellectual curiosity, and high-signal connections.

If you are tired of shallow swiping mechanics and dopamine-loop profiles, Symposium is your digital salon. We prioritize ideas, values, and humor over low-effort visual judgment.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. The Catalyst Feed: Browse a curated catalog of intellectual, serious, or funny prompt cards covering Philosophy, Identity, Ambition, and Creativity.
2. Write Your Musing: To unlock the thoughts of others, you must first contribute. Write and submit your own unique response to a Catalyst card.
3. Mind First, Photos Later: Browse other users' written musings sorted by age, gender, and location. Photos remain strictly hidden. If you resonate with someone's mind, send a match request. Once mutually accepted, your private thread unlocks, and your photos are revealed.
4. The Agora Community Sandbox: Compose your own custom Catalysts and submit them to the Agora. The community upvotes or downvotes raw prompts. Pass the positive threshold, and your Catalyst graduates to the main global feed!

FEATURES:
* Mind-first discovery loop that values personality over immediate physical filtering.
* Interactive community moderation via the Agora voting hub.
* Strict privacy control: Permanently delete specific past musings or text data without deleting your login account.

Skip the small talk. Join Symposium and connect with people who actually match your mind.
