"The Good Neighbour" is a new and amazing app to help everyone save money on their household renos and projects! Absolutely free to download. It's based simply on neighbour to neighbour tool rentals. Log in and add all your tools to your "toolbox" that way your tools will come up when neighbours search. Need a tool? just search for it, watch all the results pop up near you. Use the tool for a fraction of the cost new.
A rating system is in place so you rest with ease knowing that your tools will be treated with care. The good neighbour keeps track of who has your tools and will make sure your tool comes back the way it left. All transactions are conducted through the app. Imagine a community where you can just walk down the street for a tool. instead of running to the hardware store and spending a fortune.

Needed an extension ladder to put up my Christmas lights. Picked one up from a short distance away for a totally reasonable price. Awesome to have this cause it's hard to justify buying some tools you aren't going to use very often. I think the app worked well and I had a good experience.

I love the concept, have had an account for.years but didn't use it much, now it's asking for all this personal info, identity and address verification, before I can even log in to see a tool rental request. I see delete app in near future, sorry I can't respond to my potential new customers. A guy called me a couple of years ago stating he was going to make this app better, guess he failed.

Its a good app for a free one. Listing tools takes some getting used to either using one from their list or adding in the details yourself. The built in messaging can be a bit slow but its still functional and keeps history. If you try do too much at once it can hang and needs a restart but all in all its a decent app and great for renting out your gear or finding someone you need for a day.
