The Cardiological Society of India (CSI) was founded in 1948 by Dr. B. C. Roy to address the growing problem of cardiovascular disease in India. With over 5500 life members, CSI has played a vital role in educating and upgrading cardiologists over the last 7 decades.
CSI focuses on preventing general and complex cardiovascular diseases through various levels of intervention. The society collaborates with technology giants like TCS and Accenture to develop AI-based algorithms for diagnosis and prevention. They also work on increasing pollution awareness and implementing preventive measures.
In 2024, CSI will showcase these innovations at a Global Summit of Cardiology Leaders on Pollution and AI Applications for Cardiometabolic Disease Prevention during its 76th Conference in Lucknow (UP), India
