About this app

SoundSim360 brings professional-grade wind turbine noise simulation to your device. Place turbines on a real map, run on-device propagation calculations, and within seconds see a geo-referenced noise heatmap. The computations are based on a condensed version of the full high-performance software package, adapted for quickly simulating dBA noise emissions from wind turbines on your device.

Key features:
· Place turbines and receiver points on an interactive map using GPS coordinates or any supported coordinate system
· On-device inference using terrain elevation data (topography) and ground type data (forest, water, asphalt etc.)
· Color-coded noise heatmap showing A-weighted sound pressure levels in 5 dBA bands
· Noise levels at specific receiver point locations
· Your location: GPS-based noise reading from the simulation result at your current position
· Multiple independent simulation scenarios (create, rename, duplicate, import, and export)
· Export results as a CSV data file
· Share simulations as .soundsim files

Subscription:
The default app allows 2 turbines and a demo area to explore the app. Subscribing enables up to 30 turbines and unrestricted simulation area (global placement of turbines).
