About this app

Proxiguard Live is an online guard tour patrol system which helps security companies worldwide manage and monitor the patrols of their guards in an innovative way. It uses the power of a smartphone which communicates in real-time with a 24/7/365 Monitoring Center.

The guard scans a QR code or an NFC or and iBeacon/iTag tag and sends data like incidents report, text, voice message and images, including accurate positioning (GPS, Wi-Fi, GSM cells) in real-time to the Monitoring Centre.

In case of danger, the guard presses a simple SOS button and a SOS alert is sent, indicating his accurate position. In this way, the company is informed about a real-time danger in guards’ region and take immediate action.

Proxiguard Live can send e-mail or inform the client via the web browser, eliminating the doubts about the consistency a security company shows towards its client.

It is fast, low cost and reliable, improving team efficiency and cooperation between colleagues and co-workers and eliminating time consuming tasks within the companies.

Background & Connectivity Notes: Proxiguard Live requires a Foreground Service to ensure the safety of security personnel in the field.

SOS & Man-Down Alerts: The app uses a persistent service to monitor device sensors and external panic buttons. This ensures that even if the app is in the background or the screen is locked, a fall (Man-Down) or a button press will immediately trigger an alert to the Monitoring Center.

Connected Devices: We maintain a constant Bluetooth/Network link to external panic buttons to ensure they remain responsive and connected at all times.

Real-time Positioning: Background location is utilized to provide accurate coordinates during active patrol shifts, ensuring guards can be located instantly in case of an emergency.

The company I work for has been using this app for years now and I can honestly say it's a horrible app. Proxiguard will tell you it's because you have no Internet but it doesn't work when you have Internet. The app shuts down unexpectedly while you're performing security rounds & when you attempt to log back in, it states several error messages. When you're finally able to log back in after several attempts all the data you previously uploaded disappears.

Hi, so the App is great but the qr code scanner is not optimized for phones like Samsung galaxy s21. When I use other qr code scanner apps they work perfectly but the built in qr code scanner in proxiguard doesn't. Would appreciate a fix since I use the app on the job daily. Thanks !

Having issues with it saying no Internet with my Pixel 6 A14. It was fine until the December update.
