About this game

Schrödinger Chess is a fresh take on the classic game — played on 2 or 3 stacked 8×8 boards at the same time.

Every turn has two phases: make a chess move on any board, then teleport one of your pieces to an adjacent board. Strategy spans all levels at once.

HOW IT WORKS

• MOVE — Pick any board and make a standard chess move
• SHIFT — Teleport one of your pieces up or down to another board
• WIN — Capture all of your opponent's kings to win the game

Each player has one king per board. Losing a king on one board doesn't end the game — the battle continues on all boards until the very last king falls.

GAME MODES

• 2 Players — pass and play on one device
• vs AI — challenge the built-in computer opponent
• Online — play with a friend anywhere using a 6-letter room code (no account required)
