Yours, is an email app for people who want their inbox back.
The first time someone new writes to you, their mail doesn't land in your inbox. It waits in the Screener until you decide. Say yes and they're in for good. Say no and their mail goes to Junk, now and in the future. You can also send them to the Feed, a separate place for newsletters you like reading but don't need to see right away. You make the decision once per sender and never think about it again.
It works with the address you already have. Gmail, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org, your own domain: if your provider supports IMAP, Yours, can connect to it. The app talks to your provider directly. There is no server of ours in between, so there's nothing of yours for us to read, store or lose.
What it does
One inbox for all your accounts, with each account in its own color
Swipe right to archive, left to snooze. Everything can be undone, so there are no "are you sure?" dialogs
Snooze until "this evening" or "the weekend" instead of picking hours. Snoozed mail is moved on the server too, so it stays out of the way on your other devices
Ask to be reminded if nobody replies to something you sent. If they do reply, the reminder goes away by itself
Search as you type, even offline, with filters like from:, is:unread and has:attachment
Notifications only for mail from people you approved. Strangers, newsletters and snoozed threads stay quiet
Folders, tags, rules, signatures, saved snippets and vacation replies
Colors that follow your wallpaper on Android 12 and newer
Private by default
Images in emails are blocked until you choose to load them, so senders can't use tracking pixels to see when and where you opened their mail. Scripts in emails never run. Your passwords are kept in Android's encrypted storage and are only ever sent to your own mail server. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
On-device assistant
On phones with Android's built-in AI model (recent Pixel, Galaxy and other flagship phones), Yours, can summarize long threads, suggest replies, explain who a new sender is and polish what you write. It runs entirely on your phone. Your mail is never sent anywhere to do this. It's off until you turn it on.
Fast and offline
Your mail is stored on your phone, so the inbox opens instantly and you can read, archive and reply without a connection. Anything you do offline is sent as soon as you're back online.
Good to know
Gmail, iCloud and Yahoo require an app password for apps like this one. Yours, explains how to create one when you add the account. Outlook.com and Hotmail accounts may not be able to connect yet, because Microsoft has turned off password sign-in for them.
Email that only lets in people you said yes to. Fast, private, no middleman.
