About this game

Magnesia Flat is a minimalist puzzle walker set on an endless white magnesium
salt flat. Every step you take leaves a dark footprint behind you, and your own
trail is forbidden ground: cross it once and the run is over.

The salt crust is fragile. Stand on one spot too long and it cracks open beneath
your feet, so keep moving and plan every turn. Every so often the wind sweeps
across the flat and fades all footprints for a few precious seconds, opening
brief windows to re-cross old paths.

Collect glowing crystal flowers scattered across the flat, then reach the red
exit flag. Your score blends how many crystals you gathered with how efficient
your route was, so fewer moves and faster runs pay more coins.

Spend coins in the shop on six working items: two walker skins, Lightfoot Boots
that let the crust hold you longer, a Wind Whistle that summons the wind on
demand, a Trail Lantern that shows your crust load, and a Salt Charm that
forgives one misstep per run.
