By itself, it's great. I only need the pen and highlight tools, and it got both of that. I'm really quite happy. But (oh oh, here comes the but...), if you open a pdf on the ext sd card from another application, it won't be able to write to that pdf file. Couldn't it just map that path it was given to the one it has already mounted in the app? I don't know, just throwing out some suggestions.
Definitely deserving of 5 stars. Pretty intuitive. Only hangup I have is that I'm still trying to figure out how to cancel changes or save it as a different file. Original file is over written.
Still awaiting full text searching (global) feature as promised
In the opening screen of your app, it says you need Android 5.0 to be able to Write to the External SD Card. That is not correct. Jelly Bean 4.0-4.3 will do it just fine. Also, there is a Patch in the Play Store (SDFix) that allows KitKat 4.4.x to do it as well. I ran it and have zero problems Writing to my Ext SD with any app I want, just like everyone else who runs the Patch. However, not everyone has/can run it and so, instead of saying that this function "requires 5.0 and above", that screen should not have an Android "min ver" at all and should only mention KitKat and only say; "If you are running Android KitKat 4.4.x you may not be able to write to an External SD Card. This is due to Google's design for KitKat and has nothing to do with how our app functions." In other words guys, if the OS blocks the Writes, then so be it and users have been warned. But don't code your app to block Writes from happening if the OS is not 5.0 (or above)! The last time I checked, KitKat still held 30% (+/- 2%) of the Market!
Superb app!!! No issues what so ever and absolutely add free, loved it.
Fast, fluid, well designed app with a lot of functions.
