Piano3 is a free ORG and custom piano app: load any sound you own and the app turns it into a playable keyboard, every key at its own pitch.
The ORG 2026 build was rewritten from scratch — new audio engine, no key latency, full-range sliding keyboard.
▎ LOAD YOUR OWN SOUNDS
You are not stuck with a fixed sound library. Import any audio file from your phone and Piano3 builds an instrument from it. One sample can fill the whole keyboard, or you can assign a different sample to each note and build a real sample instrument.
Notes you leave undefined are filled by pitch-shifting the nearest defined sample, so no key ever falls silent.
Load an oriental or arabic sample set and it becomes an oriental keyboard. Load a grand piano set and it becomes a custom piano. The keyboard does not change — only what you put in it.
▎ FULL-RANGE KEYBOARD
Every note from C1 to B8. The keyboard is wider than the screen, so it slides and zooms: one finger plays, two fingers move. A range strip above shows where on the keyboard you are.
24 voices play at once, so chords and long tails never cut each other off.
▎ RHYTHM
Load your own rhythm files and loop them behind your playing. The rhythm keyboard library is separate from the sound library and can be organised into folders.
▎ EFFECTS
Reverb, echo and chorus, each adjustable on its own, with ready-made reverb spaces to pick from. The chain adds depth without burying the org sound.
Loop, fade and pitch controls sit right above the keyboard, so you change them while playing instead of digging through menus.
▎ ORIENTAL KEYBOARD, SAMPLER OR PIANO
The same keyboard becomes whatever you load into it. Put in an oriental sample set and play it as an oriental keyboard. Put in a drum kit and it works as a sampler app. Put in a grand piano and it is a custom piano again.
As a piano sampler it handles multi-sample instruments properly: assign one sample per note, and Piano3 covers anything you skip with the nearest one. The rhythm keyboard side runs your own loops underneath while you play.
▎ INSTRUMENT PACKAGES
Save a setup you like as a .p3i package and load it back later. A package carries its sounds, its key mapping, its cover image and its effect settings together. Plain zip files and single json files can also be imported.
The library is split into sounds, rhythms, instruments and presets, and each one can be foldered.
▎ WHAT MAKES PIANO3 DIFFERENT
Most org and piano keyboard apps ship with a fixed set of sounds; whichever one you open, you find the same library. In Piano3 you build the library. That is why the same app works as an ORG, as a piano sampler and as a custom piano.
It also asks for no storage permission at all. The file you pick is copied into the app's own folder and nothing else on your phone is touched.

1. Pick a sound file — your own recording, an org sample, any instrument sample.
2. Let the app spread it across the keyboard.
3. Play. Add a rhythm, switch on an effect, shift the pitch.
4. Save the setup as an instrument package.
There is nothing to learn first. You will play your first sound in under a minute.
