The Ideastream Public Media App allows you to watch and listen to all of Ideastream’s programs, radio and TV!

The app provides On-Demand content of all your favorite shows, live streaming of the radio channels, easy access to the live Radio and TV program schedule plus the ability to explore additional content!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off. Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from Ideastream even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing. Watch PBS programs easily from your device, no matter where you are.

Update 2/18/24: seems to be better since I no longer experience the live stream being interrupted when I look at text for older reports. It's a pretty good app. I don't like the pages that have text that automatically interrupt the live stream with the audio that goes with the text

Not good. I mostly use it to listen to the channel and the sound goes out if I try to read an article while listening. If I get a call, the sound does not come back on. Everything on your front page is stories that have run.. Nothing about ideastream, nothing about stories coming up.

Great app,except you can not turn it off. Had to uninstall to turn off. Ok read your reply. So I reinstalled app. Still a good but Evan with the procedure you provided app is still in backround. So I deleted app again. Why don't you have just a simple OFF button and make life simple. Ps tried it twice second time I clicked my heels three times and hit back twice. Did not work.
