WVTF:

The WVTF App allows you to listen to RADIO IQ and WVTF, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedules all at once! You can explore news stories, On Demand content, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to RADIO IQ and WVTF with the alarm clock!

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!

Every time I use the app while driving, it will stay on the previous showing after I turn the vehicle off. So the next time I connect my iPhone to my truck, it will pick back up from the previous spot and after several minutes, it will catch back up to where it should be. So that's several minutes of a news article missed.

i can't see where this app gives me anything better than streaming from the website and due to its additional issues, the overall result is poor. while not the app's fault, audio quality is the same bitstarved stream provided from the headend, with treble sounding like mp3 files from the turn of the millennium. also the app seems to inject their own money-beg messages irrespective of the context of the program and in addition to the the begs imbedded in the originating stream. one-and-done.

After a few minutes it stops and I have to pick up the device open the app and tap start again. Even so it sometimes and oftentimes does not start. About half of the time it says there's a network problem. I'm looking for another app.
