About this app

City of Garland residents now have a tool for finding information and submitting service requests using a mobile device. Garland eAssist connects your request directly to the right City of Garland department for quick and efficient resolution. Once a user account is created, it’s easy to track the progress of service requests and receive email notifications as updates are made. The app also provides links to news, events, FAQs, and other City of Garland resources.

The app sucks. It doesn't recognize my email address or password and takes forever to first load complaint types. Much faster to just log in on the website. Logging into the website recognizes my email & password, but the app doesnt.

Can't even sign up properly. Received welcome email instead of confirmation email. Absolutely nowhere in email to confirm anything. So I can't make a request or report etc. Now I understand why this app is rated poorly. Too bad this app is something we all could really use and appreciate going smoothly. Too bad reviews are consistently negative and it hasn't seemed to change yet. Too bad city hall hasn't corrected this yet if app developers won't. Too bad our tax dollars are wasted on waste. Ugh

Waist of time! I put in a request then get a response telling me code compliance is looking into it then 2 weeks later i get a msg saying issue has been resolved and ticket was closed. Well Issue was NOT resolved and when i asked why ticket was closed because issue still exist i get NO RESPONSE. Yes thank you garland for allowing the destruction of our neighborhoods and city.
