UAVSky is the essential pre-flight companion for drone pilots. Before you fly, check every weather factor that matters to UAV operations — all in one place, with no registration required.
✈️ FLIGHT CONDITIONS AT A GLANCE
The Conditions screen gives you an instant flight-readiness badge (GREAT / GOOD / FAIR / POOR) based on a composite score of wind speed, gusts, visibility, cloud cover, precipitation and humidity. Tap any hour on the slider to see forecast conditions up to 7 days ahead.
💨 ALTITUDE WIND PROFILE
Know the wind at every flight level from surface up to 1 000 m AGL.
The Wind Profile screen shows speed, direction arrows and temperature at surface, 80 m, 120 m and 180 m — essential for high-altitude long-range (HALO) missions and FPV racing.
🧭 LIVE COMPASS & WIND OVERLAY
The Compass screen uses your phone's rotation vector sensor to display a
real-time compass rose with the current wind direction and speed overlaid —
perfect for aligning your take-off heading on the field.
🗺️ RAIN RADAR ANIMATION
The Map screen streams live RainViewer radar tiles over an OpenStreetMap basemap. Scrub through ~80 past frames and 3 nowcast frames to see exactly where rain cells are moving — and whether your flying window is safe.
🌅 SOLAR ARC INDICATOR
A dynamic sun/moon arc on the bottom slider shows sunrise and sunset times for your exact location, so you always know when golden hour begins.
📍 SMART LOCATION
UAVSky detects your GPS location automatically or lets you search for any city or place worldwide. Tap any spot on the map to pull weather for that exactlocation.

• Powered by Open-Meteo — high-resolution ECMWF forecasts, free and accurate.
• Rain radar by RainViewer.
• No API keys, no accounts, no ads.
PRIVACY
UAVSky does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.
Location is used only on-device for weather queries.
