LetterGrid is a multiplayer turn-based word game that requires the use of vocabulary and strategy to win against your opponent. The game is a combination of word search and territory control. Just like in Chess, you are playing on a board, but instead of Chess pieces you have letters. The tiles with the words you find become yours. Use strategy to beat your opponent by reaching the goal of two game types:

1) Invasion - you have to build a chain of words from your border to your opponent's border starting each word from a tile that is already yours.

2) Territory - occupy a set number of tiles before your opponent by making words that use at least one tile that is already yours.

As you play the match, you must use strategy to find such words that will let you win against your opponent by expanding your territory to reach the goal of the game, stealing the tiles of your opponent and even cutting them off! To play well, you must think ahead what move your opponent can make in response to your move.

My friend invited me to LetterGrid and I've been hooked since. This game is easy to pick up and play, and fun! I'm playing it exclusively right now! I like that there is strategy involved, too - you need to anticipate your opponent's moves and try to stay a step or more ahead. The two game modes add variety. I like that you can play against bots or real opponents. And the puzzles are engaging, making me want to come back and climb the leaderboards. Highly recommend for any word game enthusiasts

I stumbled on this game because I've played a few other word games, but this one surprised me in how unique it is - it was also surprising in how much more challenging (in a good way) it is, at least for me. There's a few different modes/styles for variety, and I like how it shows the definition up at the top of the screen when a word is played - definitely helps my vocabulary! Definitely recommended for any word/spelling game fans.

One of the things I love most about LetterGrid is that it's a great way to improve your vocabulary. As you play, you're constantly learning new words and figuring out how to use them in different ways. The game also helps you to develop your problem-solving skills. When you're faced with a difficult grid, you have to think strategically to figure out the best way to form WORDS. This app is also really addictive!
