About this game

Arkadium is a vibrant match puzzle built around colorful gems, smart swapping, and satisfying chain reactions. Each session invites you to line up matching stones, trigger cascades, and push your score higher before your moves run out.

When you open Arkadium you land on a welcome screen with a play button. Tap it and the board appears instantly with a clean puzzle layout. The top area shows your current score and your remaining moves, so you always know where you stand each round.

The playing field is a full grid filled with six distinct gem types. Ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamond, amethyst, and topaz each have their own rich color, making patterns easy to spot as you plan your next move. Your goal is to create lines of three or more identical gems in a row or column. When a valid match forms, those gems pop with a bright sparkle effect, empty spaces collapse downward, and fresh gems fall in from above. If new matches appear after the board settles, they resolve automatically and build your combo multiplier for bigger point rewards.

You control the board in two natural ways. Tap one gem and then tap a neighboring gem to swap their positions. You can also swipe from one gem towards an adjacent one for the same result. Only swaps that create at least one match will stay on the board. If a swap would not produce a match, the gems slide back without costing a move, which gives you room to experiment.

Each round gives you a limited number of moves to earn as many points as you can. Every successful swap that leads to a match uses one move. The scoring system rewards larger clears and longer combo chains. Clearing more gems at once adds more points, and consecutive cascades increase the multiplier so a well planned sequence can boost your total. Arkadium tracks your best combo during the session and displays it when the round ends.

When your moves reach zero, Arkadium shows a results screen with your final score and your best combo from that run. From there you can start a fresh round immediately with the play again button. There are no complicated menus between rounds, which makes Arkadium ideal for quick breaks as well as longer relaxed sessions.
