If you want to test the network speed between two devices you need to have a second phone or computer to use it as server!

Best one I know of. Used for years yet haven't really scratched surface with nor fully understand most of capabilities. Just use to compare speed of connections. Can see all networks detectable, see other network connections and identify. Also will tell u if channel is crowded and which one to switch to. Not sure how well you can connect to router with. Via usb would be cool (thru pc or direct), gotta try that.

great app, lots of useful data in one place, the best I have used. The ability to test local wifi speed without setting up a server is very helpful. One strange issue: I am noticing that my local wifi up speed is usually slower than the measured Internet down speeds eg 778Mb/s wifi up, 911Mb/s down 848Mb/s up. I'm curious how Internet speeds can be faster than local wifi speeds?

v7.0 & many prior versions have a serious problem measuring Internet Upload speeds. The app reports an Upload speed of about 1.8 Mbit/s, while other Wi‑Fi speed test Apps correctly report approximately 20 Mbit/s. The app offered email support in the past; however, that service is presently not available. This is due to an email I sent on Feb 8th regarding this Upload issue, & received No response.
