I have been using the Capital City mobile apps since they first came out with them (there were separate banking & mobile deposit apps back then). I have had no consistent issue with this one (which, contrary to some reports, does include mobile deposit) until lately. Now when I take the picture of the check the camera view is rotated 90 degrees. It turns out that the actual picture taken is "normal" but the view when attempting to align it with the check is off. So it still works if you aim at the middle of the check but definitely frustrating. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, rebooting, etc. with no luck.

8 times out of 10 it doesn't even load. It's super frustrating to keep track of my balance in my spending when I can't even log into my bank to check. I've spoken with multiple people and tried multiple things to fix the problem! I think I've uninstalled and reinstalled and ran updates at least 7 times by now! And the pending purchases are super deceptive! Supposed to have overdraft protection so that it declines purchases, but it doesn't!!!!

Everything takes so long to pend that sometimes you can't even SEE your transactions until the next day, let alone have it be visibly taken out of your balance. Too many times I have had to pay a bill and it doesn't go through for another 24+ hours, then I end up going under. Why would i have a banking app if i always have to keep track of my debit charges and do all the math myself all the time. I can, but I certainly dont want to, nor do I expect to, but there we are.
