Reciter Sheikh Maher Al-Moaikli memorized the Noble Qur’an and studied the Teachers College in Madinah. He graduated from it as a mathematics teacher, moved to work in Makkah as a teacher, then became a student guide at Prince Abdul Majeed School in Makkah Al Mukarramah. He holds a master's degree in 1425 AH in the jurisprudence of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal at the College of Sharia at Umm Al-Qura University and obtained a doctorate degree in interpretation, and works as an assistant professor in the Department of Judicial Studies at the College of Judicial Studies and Regulations at Umm Al-Qura University and holds the position of Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
He obtained a master's degree from Umm Al-Qura University, College of Sharia, Jurisprudence Department, in 1425 AH, and the thesis was entitled: Issues of Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal in Jurisprudence, with the narration of Abd al-Malik al-Maimuni (collection and study), in which he obtained an excellent rating. He obtained his doctorate from Umm Al-Qura University in the year 1432 AH, which is the verification of the book (Tuhfat al-Nabiyyah Sharh al-Tanbih) on Hudud and Districts (by Imam al-Shirazi in Shafi’i jurisprudence).
He also obtained a doctoral thesis entitled “The Masterpiece of the Prophet in Explanation of the Warning to Al-Zankalouni Al-Shafi’i, a Study and Investigation of the Chapter of Borders and the Judiciary,” and the letter was discussed in the King Abdul Aziz Hall. Sheikh Al-Doctor received a doctorate degree in jurisprudence with excellent grade with first honors Tuesday 28 Muharram 1434 AH from 11/12/2012 and he is one of the most famous reciters in the Islamic world. The Sheikh is distinguished by a beautiful and wonderful voice.
