The Qassay Rapid Test Reader is a photometric rapid test reader aimed at professional use. It allows the qualification, semi-quantification, or quantification of the intensity of the test and control lines in Qassay Rapid Tests intended to aid in diagnosis. The scope of the samples tested, and the target population is defined by rapid test to be used with the device (Qassay Rapid Test Reader + Qassay Rapid Test). The operation of the device is manual.
Warnings and Precautions:
- For accurate results, the instructions for use must be followed.
- For proper use of the diagnostic kit, see the specific instructions for use.
- Clean the reader according to the instructions specified in the instructions for use.
- Do not use the reader if it is visibly damaged.
- Always perform the tests in the indicated environmental conditions.
- Do not use the reader near strong electromagnetic fields.
- Do not attempt to open the reader housing.
- Handle the device carefully and avoid falls to heights greater than 1 meter.
- Follow the guidelines of your local authorities to dispose of the device.
- The device is reusable.
- If the device is unresponsive, please press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to restart the system.
- The device meets the requirements for a grade 2 pollution level, do not expose it to higher degrees of pollution.
- The device has a lifespan of 5,000 readings. The responsibility for the use of the device after this time falls on the user.
- The device must be used indoors.
- The degree of watertightness of the device is IPX0.
- The device can be used up to 4000 m above sea level.
- For waste collection, the disposal instructions indicated by the legal manufacturer of the diagnostic kit must be followed.
- No medical decision shall be made upon the result of the test. Consult with your healthcare professional to do so.
- The reader measures the intensity of the test and control lines in the rapid test to measure the levels of the analyte specified in the diagnostic kit. Please refer to the diagnostic kit instructions for use for further information.
- If the Quality Control procedure has failed, please do not use the device again.
- Check that the Quality Control Device has no visible damage or deformations. If applicable, contact your distributor.
- Make sure to store the Quality Control Device in its pouch inside the box after each use.
- Make sure to keep track of the tests when using Test Queue mode.
- Make sure to keep the embedded firmware and mobile application updated to the latest version
- Do not share the credentials to the application
- The device may contain potentially infectious material after use.
- Use gloves to handle the device
