Throttle Lab runs your phone's processor at full load and measures how long it keeps its peak speed before heat makes it slow down.

HOW A TEST WORKS
• Choose Quick (5 min), Standard (15 min) or Endurance (30 min).
• A checklist makes runs comparable: battery at 30% or more, unplugged, battery at 35 °C or cooler, phone not already warm, and battery saver off. If only heat is in the way, Throttle Lab can wait for the phone to cool and start by itself, or you can start anyway.
• While the test runs you see how much of its peak speed the phone keeps, a live throttle curve, the phone's thermal status, battery
temperature and power draw.
• At the end you get a plain-language verdict, for example: "Your phone kept 72% of its peak speed after 15 min. Throttling began at 4:10. At its slowest it ran at 70%."
• Every run is saved to History, so you can open it again later.

BUILT-IN SAFETY STOPS
The test stops by itself if the phone reaches critical thermal status, the battery reaches 46 °C or falls to 15%, or the phone stops reporting its temperature. It won't start below 25% battery or while the battery is already hot, and you can stop it at any time by holding the stop button. Keep the app open while a test runs: leaving the app ends it.

PRIVATE
No accounts, no ads, no analytics and no internet access. Your results stay on your phone and in your own Android backup, if it's on.

Throttle Lab needs Android 10 or later. Results depend on your phone's own temperature sensors and thermal reporting, which vary between manufacturers.
