LotusPlayerLite is a unique offline/local music player.
It features a minimalist design focused on three core functions: track and folder playback, hierarchical folder navigation, and playlist editing. The app does not include features for displaying album art or lyrics.
It uses a folder tree structure to manage and browse large music libraries, mirroring the file management experience on a computer; it is recommended that you copy your existing folder structure directly from your computer to your phone.
You can play music based on folder lists or enable folder-based shuffle playback, with configurable shuffle settings.
The shuffle function includes an anti-repetition mechanism, ensuring that recently played tracks do not recur immediately.
Designed with sleep in mind, it offers a sleep timer and a volume fade-in feature, making it ideal for falling asleep to music.
Its playlist functionality is powerful and flexible: you can create playlists based on folders, manage tracks across different playlists, and even check whether specific music files are included in a playlist.
It requires only permission to access the media library—without needing access to general phone storage—ensuring a high level of security.
The app is ad-free, operates entirely offline, and collects no personal information.
