About this game

This app is an implementation of the Wizard card game developed by Ken Fisher of Wizard Cards International Inc., Toronto, Canada. You can play the single player offline against the AI or join in a live multiplayer game with other players around the globe.

The game is similar to card games Oh Hell or Contract Whist which are trick taking card games played with a standard deck of playing cards.

In this ultimate game of trump, winning tricks is the easy part. The real challenge is predicting how many tricks you will take. To secure points, players must win the exact number of tricks they bid. Winning too many or too few means losing points. Each round adds more cards and more excitement as you try to foil your opponents.
Play the Wizard card game against AI or live multiplayer.

This great card game deserves better. Basic interface. I didn't try the live game, but the solo computer game has lots of bugs. In Canadian rules, computer can even-bid, but the human player can't. The rules page is impossible to read and there's no zoom. There are no stats and rotating screen exits game. It's as if the game was developed in the early days of smartphones and has not been updated since. Good fun, but problematic. On the plus side, I didn't come across any ads.

Thank you for finally seeing that this game needed work. It's been like years since I played it. And now you should be able to have an uneven bid. Is that available? Game is unrealistic, In that the human player gets every suit over 4 cards. And it's ridiculous, you can't beat the computer when you have every suit and you can't trump in and in real life you don't get every suit every hand over for 4 cards. Oh and so many wizards/high cards for the computer most of each game? Cmon!

I was one of the holdouts using the free app for years. Now with more modern phones and Android versions it has stopped working. Should have taken the plunge to pay for this a little while ago. Wizard Cards is one of my favourite cards games and my favourite "tricks" game. The app plays a solid AI, allowing me to win just often enough.
