Speed read is the new method of reading books.
Speed reading allows the user to spritz through a book a lot quicker than traditional methods, by allowing for words per minute (WPM) control with additional fine-tuning for word length, comma / period delays.
Also supports TTS (Text-To-Speech) feature which allows for the user to listen to the book instead.

Currently supports PDF, EPUB, DOCX, TXT, MOBI, AZW, FB2, PRC and AZW3 file formats.
Users can also copy / paste books from other sources, like web-sites.
Books can also be added directly from project Gutenberg.org using the "Search" option.

Supports different themes for night and regular reading.

Volume up / down controls playback speed.

functional. could improve with named bookmarks, searching more than one word, showing ToC when available. great for reading from start to finish without re reading what has already passed. navigating to a chapter or finding a phrase is not possible. if you typically scroll to find a particular text or to find a reference this app is for you. It's a great bare bones reader.

Can you make the interface truly dark in black mode? The progress bar near the bottom is very bright when reading in bed and pulls my attention away from the target word and letter. Is this something you can do?

There should be full screen option, hiding notification bar etc, to full focus, it is important.
