About this app

QueenRadar turns your phone camera into a honeybee comb scanner. Point it at the comb and the app highlights what matters to a beekeeper in real time — running entirely on your device.

▸ Live, on-device detection
All analysis runs offline on your phone. No account, no internet required for detection, and camera frames are not uploaded automatically.

▸ What it detects
• Honeybee queen — marked and unmarked (free)
• Queen cells (free)
• Varroa mites — on bees and on the bottom board (Premium)
• Brood (Premium)
• DWV — deformed wing virus (Premium)

▸ Magnifier mode
Zoom in and read the number on the queen's marking disc — the number is also read aloud.

▸ Free and Premium
QueenRadar is free for live queen and queen-cell detection. Premium unlocks Varroa, brood and DWV detection, session history, photo saving and a higher upload limit.

▸ Help improve the model (optional)
You can voluntarily submit comb photos from the app to help train and improve detection. It's optional, requires no account, and you can withdraw your consent and have your uploads deleted at any time.

QueenRadar is an assistive tool — it helps you inspect the comb faster and catch signals worth a closer look. It does not replace professional veterinary or beekeeping judgment.
