About this game

CluckQuest is a compact number puzzle built around a 4×4 grid where strategy and foresight define every move. Tiles marked with 2 or 4 appear on the board, and your objective is to combine matching numbers to create higher values. When two identical tiles meet, they merge into one with their total value: 2 and 2 become 4, 4 and 4 become 8, and the sequence continues upward.

All tiles move together in a single chosen direction: left, right, up, or down. Each move shifts the entire grid, creating new opportunities for combinations. After every action, a new tile appears, gradually filling available space and increasing the challenge. Careful planning is essential, as each decision affects the structure of the board and the potential for future merges.

The primary goal in CluckQuest is to form the 2048 tile. At the same time, you can aim to achieve the highest possible score by continuing to merge tiles even after reaching that milestone. The game ends when the grid is completely filled and no valid moves remain. At that point, your final score is calculated based on the value gained from tile combinations.

Scores greater than zero are recorded in the records, allowing you to track your best performance over time. Your highest result remains saved, even if you leave the game or close it before finishing a session. When you return, you can continue your pursuit of a stronger result without losing your progress.

If the game is temporarily minimized, it automatically enters a paused state. Upon returning, you simply close the pause window to resume play exactly where you left off.

Every session of CluckQuest challenges you to think ahead, control the grid, and build increasingly powerful numbers within a limited space. Plan your moves carefully, keep the board open, and push toward 2048 while striving to surpass your previous best score.
