Every day, children make small choices that shape who they become. How they treat a friend who's left out. Whether they own a mistake or hide it. What they do when the kind thing is also the harder thing.
Most of what children learn about right and wrong doesn't come from lessons. It comes from moments, and from the adults who take a few minutes to talk them through.
EthicKids was built for those moments.
HOW IT WORKS
Your child is shown a short, real-life scenario: a friend is being left out, someone takes credit for work they didn't do, a small lie seems easier than the truth. They choose one of three responses. The app then explains, plainly and without lecturing, why the best answer is best, and why the other choices, though understandable, fall short.
No shame. No buzzers. Every choice, including the wrong ones, is treated as something worth understanding, not something to feel bad about.
Progress is saved scenario by scenario, so your child can pick up where they left off.
WHAT YOUR CHILD LEARNS
The app covers twelve virtues that matter in everyday life: empathy, kindness, generosity, honesty, fairness, respect, responsibility, courage, perseverance, patience, self-control, and gratitude. Not as words to memorise, but as reasoning to practice. The goal is simple: by the end of each scenario, your child should be able to say, in their own words, why the best choice was the right one.
WHAT IS INSIDE
100 scenarios across two stages. Stage one covers everyday moments for younger children. Stage two introduces slightly more complex social situations for the older end of the 8 to 12 range. Optional read-aloud support is built in for younger or less confident readers.
DESIGNED TO BE PUT DOWN
EthicKids is not designed to be played for hours. A session takes a few minutes. There are no streaks, no countdowns, no pressure to keep going. Nothing here is designed to make a child feel they are losing something by stopping.
Many parents use it as a five-minute conversation starter at breakfast or in the car. That is exactly what it is built for.
WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
No ads. No account or sign-up required. No data collection of any kind. Nothing about your child's use of the app leaves the device. EthicKids works fully offline and always will.
CONTENT AND SAFETY
Every scenario is written and then independently reviewed by two people against a strict content policy before it ships. No religion, no politics, no real people or brands, nothing frightening or inappropriate for this age group. Only situations where the best answer has clear, uncontested agreement across different cultures and beliefs.
