Please note, the Smart Control app is only compatible with attic fans with a QuietCool Smart Control hub installed on your QuietCool attic fan. This will not work with a QuietCool Whole House Fan.

I used this attic fan to make a whole house fan for my smaller house. I love being able to control it via Bluetooth on my phone and I love the summer settings. Dev's, please consider in your next release, allowing more precise control of the custom temperature instead of the 5 degree increments. Also, a whole house fan mode that only engages the fan at night, and does not turn on during the day would be awesome!!! Thanks for a great setup!

The app is shotty at best, when I select the app I normally don't see the Bluetooth fan until I select the Right + key then return to the app then it seems to find the fan. I have 5 BARS OF STRENGTH!!! Also the temperature trends are a joke. The current temperature is about 8° below the outside ambient temperature along with the attic temperature is about useless with the inaccurate sine waves. Hopefully someone reads this and adds a new firmware fix to these useless sine waves?

This latest update makes it cumbersome to use app with or without location on, or with or without an account. At times the fan on the "Your Fans" page appears grayed out, and takes several minutes to "activate" if at all. Luckily I have the app on my iPad as well as my Android cell, so I can switch between the 2. The previous version communicated more smoothly with the fan and I had no trouble with it at all. I've had to uninstall and reinstall his version twice on each device. Great fan, tho.
