This latest update makes it cumbersome to use app with or without location on, or with or without an account. At times the fan on the "Your Fans" page appears grayed out, and takes several minutes to "activate" if at all. Luckily I have the app on my iPad as well as my Android cell, so I can switch between the 2. The previous version communicated more smoothly with the fan and I had no trouble with it at all. I've had to uninstall and reinstall his version twice on each device. Great fan, tho.

For the fan to keep your settings after a power outage or being turned off, you need to sign up for an account. OK, no problem...until you try to sign up for an account. I've been trying to create an account for a week, but I never received the verification code sent to my email. I contacted support, and they say the email service has been up and down all week. Perhaps you should find a new app developer with better email deliverability systems.

Hi John, we had some server issues that were causing verification emails to fail. It has since been fixed with a migration to a different email provider. Please try again and let us know if you were able to successfully create an account.
