In Causal Archive, you operate a civic archive where officially accepted records determine the present state of a living city. Investigate contradictory documents, trace provenance, test bounded predictions, and decide which version of the past becomes canonical.

Every canonical decision changes the simulation. Ownership, infrastructure, institutions, trust, public services, and district conditions propagate through a deterministic causal network — changing which evidence and problems can appear later.

A COMPLETE CAMPAIGN
Causal Archive includes 21 investigations and mastery activities, including 12 anchor cases, branching optional files, three large Causal Knot investigations, and two repeatable Reconstruction mastery files. Reconstruction uses the same causal systems without overwriting your canonical campaign city or duplicating campaign rewards.

FOUR OPERATING DOCTRINES
Switch between Conservative Archivist, Causal Engineer, Forensic Auditor, and Predictive Operator. Each changes how you approach evidence, uncertainty, resource pressure, and prediction risk rather than simply adding stat bonuses.

BUILT FOR REPLAY
Different canonical histories produce materially different city states and unlock different files. Replay the campaign with another doctrine or revisit Reconstruction mastery cases to explore difficult causal structures without turning the game into an endless grind.

Causal Archive is a single-player offline game. It has no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no account requirement, no cloud save, and no analytics SDK.
