About this app

Quillday is a private, local-first daily journal. Pages, photos, and optional audio live on this phone or tablet. There is no Quillday account and no public feed.

Payment is charged to your Google Play account. The subscription auto-renews unless you cancel. Manage or cancel in Google Play subscription settings. Restore Purchases is on the Plus screen and in Settings.

Privacy
Journal text, photos, audio, mood check-ins, and precise location stay on this device unless you export or turn on encrypted backup. Optional dictation uses the microphone and the system speech recognizer (on-device when available; otherwise Google’s speech service). Weather uses Open-Meteo only after you add a place. An optional Companion key you paste may send a short, user-approved pack of recent notes, or Ask your journal matching excerpts, to OpenAI or Anthropic when you tap Ask. Land Tech does not host your diary and cannot recover a lost passphrase.
