Quilnova Study Notes is a local-first note-taking app built around how students actually study. Everything is organized into subject folders, so your chemistry notes never get mixed up with history or literature. No account needed, no sync to worry about — everything lives on your device.
Notes support full markdown formatting. Use headings to structure a chapter summary, bullet lists to break down concepts, bold text to highlight key terms, and code blocks for anything technical. The editor stays out of your way while giving you the tools to write clearly structured content.
Browsing your subjects is straightforward. The home view shows all your folders at a glance, and tapping into one brings up every note you have saved there. Adding a new subject or note takes a single tap on the placeholder card shown when a section is empty.
The app ships with multiple themes — two light and two dark — so you can pick whatever works for your environment or preference. Switch themes from Settings along with your preferred language, haptic feedback toggle, and first day of week setting.
There are no ads, no premium tiers, no paywalls. Every feature is available from the moment you open the app for the first time. Your notes stay private because they never leave your device.
