QA-REELS shows your Reels Count while you watch short videos — a private, on-device tally so you stay aware of how much you scroll.

WHAT IT DOES
• Counts swipes on curated short-form surfaces (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and similar apps on a short supported list)
• Shows today’s count in a small overlay while you watch
• Tracks usage time only for apps you enable in the Apps tab
• Optional session timer overlay for usage-tracked apps (off by default)
• Resets counts locally at midnight

PRIVACY FIRST
• No internet permission — QA-REELS does not upload your videos, captions, or usage data
• Everything stays on this phone in encrypted local storage
• Backup is disabled
• You can revoke Accessibility, display-over-apps, or usage access anytime in system settings

PERMISSIONS (REQUIRED FOR COUNTING)
• Accessibility — detect reel screens and count swipes (does not block apps or send data off-device)
• Display over other apps — show today’s Reels Count while you watch
• Usage access — time spent only for apps you select
• Notifications + battery unrestricted — keep monitoring reliable in the background

QA-REELS is an awareness tool from the QuitApps family. It does not block apps or replace system Digital Wellbeing controls.
