With the Quito Metro app you can easily manage your available balance, recharge funds, generate your digital QR code and thus use the first underground transport in the country quickly, without waiting in lines.
To access, you need the personal data with which you created your City Account.
Remember that the digital QR code of the Quito Metro app serves as a means of access at the validators of the 15 stations.

I am not Ecuadorian, and surprisingly the app did let me register. However, it did not accept any of my credit cards, so it's useless for foreigners anyways. The line to buy a ticket at the station is too long, I'll have to walk. I hope I will not be kidnapped.

Cannot add saldo. Every time I enter the code sent to my telephone, it rejects it.
