About this app

Qwyit® is a free video chat demonstration app of our novel authentication and encryption technology. It’s an unsupported prototype showcasing a new way to authenticate and secure communications. Qwyit® provides high quality end-to-end secured video calls using VOIP. We hope you enjoy it and we promise to provide improvements as the Qwyit® community grows. Invite your family and friends to test and use it, which works over any internet connection – let us know what you think! The Qwyit® Fone app uses innovative and patented security technology, including the only Quantum Safe encryption capability.

There are several security improvements not found in any other communication app:

4 independently secured data streams (2 video, 2 audio), each using caller-only encryption keys


Whereas all other supposedly ‘private’ encryption apps tell you that they ‘don’t know your keys’ but every bit of your data goes through their systems, Qwyit® calls are made over the public Internet just between you and your contacts


Qwyit® doesn’t collect or sell any of your data because we don’t have any.


When you sign up to use Qwyit®, you’ll have a uniquely secure relationship with us as a common depot to find your potential contacts (who’ve signed up with us too). When you first call someone, you’ll pass ½ your encryption key through us so we can authenticate you to them – we can’t read that key, because you’ve wrapped it in the other key half and those only ever appear to the two of you: We can’t read the first ½, and the last ½ is never on anything we own. For every subsequent call, you just securely connect together using your private keys without ever going through Qwyit’s servers.


Now that is an honestly secure end-to-end encryption method: You and your contacts are truly safe and secure using Qwyit®
