About this game

EchoTrace is a visual memory training game that challenges your ability to capture and recall spatial information in an instant. Geometric shapes flash on screen for a brief moment. Your task is to remember their positions, shapes, and colors, then accurately recreate the pattern from memory.

Core Gameplay:
Geometric shapes appear on screen for a fraction of a second. After they disappear, you must tap the exact locations where they appeared. Each successful round increases your score and builds your combo streak. Miss a shape and your combo resets.

Game Modes:
- Infinite Mode: Play through progressively difficult levels. Start with 3 shapes and work your way up to 12 or more. As you advance, shapes appear for shorter durations and more shapes are added each round.
- Daily Challenge: A unique challenge generated for each day. Complete all shapes in a single round to win.
- Night Mode: All shapes appear in similar dark tones, removing color as a memory aid. This mode challenges pure spatial and shape recognition.

Difficulty Progression:
- Levels 1-10: Guided mode with subtle grid dots as memory anchors. Shapes flash for 1.2-1.5 seconds.
- Levels 11-30: Grid anchors removed. Pure spatial memory required. Flash duration decreases.
- Levels 31-50: Multi-color sets introduced. Different shape groups use different color palettes.
- Levels 51+: Extreme mode. Up to 12 shapes flash for as little as 0.3 seconds.

Visual Design:
Pure black background with neon fluorescent shapes in cyan, magenta, yellow, green, and blue. Clean HUD-style interface showing level, score, and combo. Precise reticle feedback for each tap with visual hit or miss indicators.

Local and Private:
All game data including high scores and settings are stored locally on your device. No account required. No data collection. No internet connection needed. No advertisements.
