RadarList is an intelligent and collaborative shopping list app focused on saving money. It allows users to manage their purchases, scan products to record prices, and use an interactive map to compare the total cost of their shopping list at different nearby markets, based on data collected by the community.

1. SHOPPING LIST (Main Screen)

• Item Management: quick addition of products with name and quantity. Items can be checked off or removed.
• Automatic Calculation: displays the estimated total value of the list in real time.

• History and Archive:
– Local history (“List Mirror”) to revisit frequently used items.
– Access to “Archived Purchases” saved in the cloud, allowing users to view details of previous purchases (date, total, and items).

• Notes Block: auxiliary tool for quick text notes.
• Quantity Editing: interface to adjust quantities and view the unit price versus total price calculation.

2. SCANNER AND PRICE READING

• Barcode Scanner: uses the camera (via Google ML Kit) to identify products.
• Manual Entry: option to enter the barcode manually if scanning fails.
• Price Geolocation: when scanning, the app identifies the current market (via GPS) and associates the scanned price with that location, feeding the community database.
• Expiration Alert: feature to monitor the expiration dates of scanned products.

3. RADAR (Map and Comparison)

• Interactive Map: integration with Google Maps, showing the user’s location and points of interest.
• Market Search: finds nearby supermarkets using Google Places and community data.

RadarList works as a price-based social network, where each user who scans and updates a product’s price helps others find where it is cheaper, making it possible to simulate the total cost of a purchase before even leaving home.
