About this app

Learn radiology by working through real cases—not by memorizing isolated facts.

RadCase is a local-first educational app for radiology residents, fellows, radiologists, medical students, and other imaging learners.

A substantial question bank

Explore 375 curated radiology cases paired with 375 unique source images and 2,750 questions. The collection includes 2,500 interpretive questions and 250 non-interpretive professional-skills questions across major body regions, modalities, and difficulty levels.

Interpretive questions develop four practical skills:

• Diagnosis: identify the principal abnormality and most likely diagnosis.
• Discrimination: distinguish a finding from important mimics.
• Next step: choose an appropriate imaging or management-oriented action.
• Reporting: identify details that belong in a useful radiology report.

Cases include clinical vignettes, explanations, differential-diagnosis considerations, teaching points, and references. The emphasis moves beyond basic modality recognition toward reasoning used during readout, call, multidisciplinary discussion, and examination preparation.

Flexible quizzes

Create a short review or a comprehensive quiz covering the full bank. Choose a preset length, enter a custom number, or select every question matching your filters. Focus by body region, modality, difficulty, search result, or bookmarked cases.

Use untimed study mode for deliberate learning or timed exam mode for realistic practice. Pause and resume a session, revisit missed material, review answers and explanations, and retain quiz history on your device. Large quizzes are generated progressively to maintain responsiveness.

Built for image review

Open images beyond the thumbnail, view them full screen, pinch to zoom, pan across findings, reset the view, and move between available source figures. Case cards, quiz images, and the full viewer use the same case-linked source.

Images come from publicly available peer-reviewed literature with documented reuse permissions, attribution, and source links. Each case preserves its citation and image credit. RadCase does not use synthetic or AI-generated radiology images.

Personal learning analytics

Track accuracy, quizzes completed, questions answered, response time, learning streaks, and case-level performance. Review results by body region, modality, and difficulty. Weak-area summaries and focused recommendations help direct the next study session.

Use RadCase for daily learning, rotation preparation, call review, board-style practice, teaching-file development, or targeted review of difficult cases.

Offline-ready study

Download approved case images for offline review when connectivity is limited. Bookmarks, quiz progress, results, settings, downloaded images, and analytics are stored locally. Interrupted transfers can resume, subject to network conditions and operating-system scheduling.

Privacy by design

RadCase requires no account or login. It has no advertising, advertising identifier, behavioral tracking, social profile, or cloud-based learning account. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or location access, and it does not accept uploads of patient studies.

Bookmarks, searches, quiz history, performance data, settings, and offline files remain on your device. Learning history is not synchronized to the cloud. Clear All Data in Settings removes app-controlled local information.

Optional privacy-scrubbed crash and performance diagnostics remain disabled until you consent. When enabled, safeguards exclude personal identifiers, screenshots, session replay, local paths, case images, and quiz state.

Responsible educational use

RadCase is an educational review tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide patient-specific diagnosis or treatment, and must not replace clinical judgment, supervision, institutional policy, or primary-source guidance.
