The history of LV11 is the history of Santiago del Estero itself. During five
decades the struggles for water, for better living conditions in the
rural communities, due to the validity of human rights, has
referenced a way of doing radio, an unrestricted commitment in the social,
from the field of a communication medium. The free services that
currently provides the station and its presence establishing bridges between the
communities, constituting in some cases as the only alternative for
communicate to people, make this radio an irreplaceable medium in the
society that houses it and that has adopted it with name and surname: “LV11 la
Radio of the Santiagueños ”. Currently integrates the network in Argentina of the Pact
World Organization of the United Nations.
